Fast And Furious- Creating More Fury

https://encrypted-tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQjtMooDfHybIFKqGF4LW1YzmmD2mjYdMHMW-QNor4pcGvlMQ_w6wEric Holder is a liar.  That is not something you should say openly about the Attorney General of the United States of America but I can interpret this story as nothing less than intentional, blatant disregard for the truth; which, to me, is lying.  Supreme Legal Eagle, Eric Holder, who knows nothing about nothing when it comes to his department (or what lead to border patrol agent, Brian Terry's death), recently said that emails specifically referencing "Fast and Furious" have nothing to do with Fast and Furious / Brian Terry but rather another program called "Wide Receiver."

Unfortunately for Mr. Holder, the email states that it IS referring to "Fast and Furious" in addition to "Laura's Tuscon Case [a.k.a. Wide Receiver]."  Moreover, it makes references (plural) in the same sentence to both Fast & Furious and Wide Receiver which are separated by only one word, "AND."  So to say that "Fast & Furious" means "Wide Receiver," these guys would actually have to be saying- We're worried about Fast & Furious and that Fast & Furious case.  That makes no sense right?  Neither does Eric Holder's statement unless he's intentionally lying to misled Congress.

Why is this relevant?  If it's not obvious to you by now, you should go put your head in an oven.  It is relevant for a fistful of reasons.  The first of which being that it helps prove upper echelon people in the D.O.J., headed by Mr. Holder, knew about and likely approved of the tactics used in Fast & Furious.  Mr. Holder has testified that he did not know about Fast & Furious until after the Terry shooting incident and that he disapproved of the tactics used.  The referenced emails clearly indicate otherwise.

Voter Fraud Revisited

Voter Fraud is prevalent throughout the United States and in greater numbers than anyone wants to admit.  Voting is the fundamental reason why common citizens (you, John Q. Public) feel like they have a say in Government.  The great majority of people will never run for office but most of us will vote.  If you undermine that, you undermine the entire country.  So why would anyone resist efforts to purify the voting process?  Because if you can't win legally you might as well cheat.

In the state of Florida alone, there were as many as 53,000 deceased individuals still on the voting records who could have cast ballots from beyond the grave (because no one checks photo ID's at the time of voting...remember?).  There are also nearly 200,000 people registered to vote in the state illegally. Florida has a population of roughly 19 million individuals, so that 53,000 number seems like a small percentage.  Until you realize that the entire U.S. presidency came down to less than 1,000 votes during the 2000 elections.  So, you see, Mr. Holder, there is voter fraud and it is a problem.

Crazy Is The New Normal

We have a running theme around here about how crazy the world is. (See). But there are some countries that really typify the insanity. Usually, they are far flung places like:

North Korea: where they plan to launch long range missiles which are capable of carrying nuclear warheads. And, because missiles aren't always labeled accurately (sarcasm), there's no way for the international community to know if the North is trying to launch satellites or to practice sending up nukes... or actually sending up nukes... Part of the confusion might be the fact that North Korea has said they will detonate a third nuclear bomb as part of a "test"... around the time they send up the new long range missiles. So Japan and the U.S. plan on shooting down any big rocket that goes up. North Korea is super angry about that and has planned "merciless retaliation." [Meaning they plan on throwing a hissy-fit and then getting their rears handed to them by Japan, South Korea and the good ol' U.S. of A. if they are dumb enough to actually send artillery into the South.]

Then there's places like Iran. Iran, is very much crazy. So much so, that they skew the "crazy" bell-curve so far right that things like modern day imperialism seem pretty mundane (e.g. the Falkland Island dispute between Argentina and the U.K.).

Voter Fraud

Literally.

The United States Department of "Justice," run by Supreme Legal Eagle, Eric Holder (the same guy associated with the "fast and furious" program that killed a U.S. Citizen/Border Patrol Agent) has successfully prevented Texas and South Carolina from combating illegal voting.

Eric Holder and the DOJ have said that requiring photo-identification for voting purposes is "discriminatory" towards minorities. The reasoning goes something like this, because illegal aliens can't get photo identification easily / legally (that's a joke because they can) and because those individuals are often minorities, then the law(s) are racist. Or some other illogical gibberish along those lines. Honestly, it takes a matter of minutes to get an I.D. and we've had this discussion before. So how can requiring photo I.D. be a racial issue? Politics. That's the only explanation. In the end, if you are not competent enough to get a state issued photo I.D., you really shouldn't be permitted to vote. Either that or the DMV needs a serious revamp (an entirely debatable point... I would be more likely to concede to the NAACP and DOJ on this point but they choose to go with Racism instead so here we are...)

So, instead of focusing on the very real concern of voter fraud, our Department of "JUSTICE" [***] has decided to fight states seeking to protect the integrity of our most fundamental right... and in the process, diluting your ability to effectively participate in government. Here's a quote from the story that I found interesting:
Proponents of such legislation say the measures are aimed at combating voter fraud. But advocacy groups for minorities and the poor dispute that and argue there is no evidence of significant voter fraud. (emphasis added)

Oh really? What about this... or this... or this... or this... or.... You get the point.

Perhaps it is stories like the one above, in combination with the economic ice age (brought about largely by the current administration's policies), that has lead to POTUS's approval rate dropping precipitously.

*** "Justice" herein refers to a department apparently driven by political motivation and primarily concerned with drumming up political support for politicians currently looking terrible in the political arena but still seeking to retain political office through quasi-legal political voting systems. Justice, as used supra, shall not be confused with upholding the actual laws of the United States but, rather, should impart a feeling that the term involves re-interpreting judicial decisions under a set of contexts which are neither applicable nor relevant and, further, for the express purpose of nullifying actual voting "law(s)" as enacted by the people of the respective states.

The Rubber Duck Stamp

Surprisingly, POTUS and the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Service are pushing visa and immigration applications through at an astounding rate. Not only that, but executives within the department are putting pressure on rank and file employees to rubber stamp visas, even in scenarios where the officials have concerns over the applications. Some of those concerns that are being overridden by bureaucrats? Fraud, ineligibility and SECURITY issues. No big deal.

Here's a few highlights from the story:
[H]igh-ranking USCIS officials said the pressure has heightened after the Obama administration appointed Alejandro Mayorkas as director in August 2009 during an effort to pass comprehensive immigration reform, bringing with him a mantra of “get to yes.” At least five agency veterans seen as being too tough on applicants were either demoted or given the choice between a demotion and relocation...
...
"People are afraid,” said one longtime manager, who requested anonymity for fear of being fired. "Integrity only carries people so far because they’ve got to pay the rent."
Another fine example of how government can control your actions if they control your means to eat and live. But at least we're safer with Mr. Mayorkas in place.

Oh, and there's this too.

Fake ID's For All

See, I told you it was easy to get a fake I.D. However, these are the high-end kind that come straight from the DMV so no one could even question your legitimacy. The spectrum of fake I.D.'s runs the gamut from excellent to not-so excellent. On one end, there's this kind (example only) for around $1500:

On the other end of things there's this kind... for like $12:

In other news, you really can get anything at Wal-Mart.

POTUS Dodges Uncle Omar

Here's a quick update on POTUS's illegal immigrant, (allegedly) drunk-driving uncle who happens to also have an illegal Social Security Number and Driver's license. Recently, POTUS's professional talking head, press secretary Carney, was asked about the tiny little issue involving his relative who has lived in the U.S. for more than 19 years after being ordered out of the country. Mr. Carney said,"We expect it to be treated ... like any other immigration case." Ha,ha,ha! Isn't that the Obama Immigration Policy in a nut shell? Ignore it, do nothing, point the finger elsewhere.

So... it'll be interesting to see how DHS and ICE react from here. Whatever happens to Uncle Omar will happen with all other people similarly situated right? Good to know. I suppose that means we will also get to see how POTUS's new "priority" enforcement of immigration laws play out in the real word.

I'm guessing it means Uncle Omar ends up like dear ol' Aunt Zetunia, who was also in the country illegally but received "asylum" after POTUS was elected (and despite being previously ordered out of the country just like Uncle Omar). However, it is possible Uncle Omar will get deported like... Well I don't know anyone who POTUS has actually deported but I'm sure there are some bad guys they've kicked out.

It Gets Better

Turns out Uncle Omar has a "valid" Social Security Number and a State issued Driver's License. However, you have to be in the country legally to get those things... legally. Well, well, well, now it seems we have a DUI arrest, eviction case and criminal fraud. Uncle Omar is seeming like a really nice guy.

For the record, if he has a Social Security Number that means he was entitled to SSN benefits including disability, etc. With that, he also would have been able to secure medicare/medicaid related benefits and an entire host of both state and federal government support (funded by tax payers). These benefits are intended for U.S. citizens and people who immigrate to the United States legally. Not people who sneak in through the back door, break our laws and ignore court ordered deportation. Was he receiving any of these benefits? I don't know but the point is, this is a glaring example of what's wrong with this country's immigration policy. The fact that he could get this identification shows the system is broken. The fact that he could get benefits which would have far exceeded anything he paid in is a further example of how detrimental illegal immigration is on the U.S. Citizen. Now go a step further, if this wasn't Uncle Omar but rather, some terrorist sympathizer, what kind of damage do you think he could do inside the United States if he decided to? Yet, we still don't enforce our own laws.

Do you think any reporters are looking into this? Do you think the White House's "priority" enforcement of illegal immigration is getting a bit messy? Do you think POTUS will do the right thing and ensure that Uncle Omar is deported pursuant to Federal law as we now know he has committed at least two crimes? I doubt it but we shall see.

Random other News Report: Shocking update indicates the sun is the driving force behind climate temperatures!

***UNCLE OMAR UPDATE***

Turns out some Senators are now asking questions about the "priority" enforcement of U.S. Immigration laws which is obviously open to abuse, nepotism and preferential treatment. Selective enforcement of the law is rarely a good idea.

Obama's (allegedly) Drunk, Illegal Immigrant Uncle Arrested; Illegal Immigrant Aunt Granted Asylum

You read that correctly. POTUS has an aunt and uncle in the country illegally (shocking right?). They do not live together (the aunt and uncle that is). The uncle, "Uncle Omar" from POTUS' book "Dreams of My Father," was known to come to the U.S. in the 1960's. The family lost touch until recently when Uncle Omar ran a stop sign, nearly crashed into a police officer and was evidently (allegedly) drinking and driving. Uncle Omar insisted it was the police officer's fault for failing to give way and has plead not guilty to the charges. [Uncle Omar was also apparently evicted from his apartment back in 2000 for not paying rent.] Seems like a nice guy.

Aunt Zetunia (Uncle Omar's sister) has been in the news for quite some time. Turns out, she was in the country illegal for many years living in public financed housing (that's your tax dollars Boston). She was ordered by a judge... like from a court... to be deported. She refused and stayed in the country. Fast forward several years (with President Obama having won the election), and we discover Aunt Z was recently granted "asylum." Why? Well supposedly it's dangerous for her to live in Kenya. I don't know much about that but what I do know is, POTUS has declared a moratorium on deportation of low level immigration violators. I guess Aunt Zetunia's violation of a deportation order for years is low level even though she was apparently living off of other people's money in the process. What about Uncle Omar though? Can't wait to see how this shakes out.

Do you suppose it might have something to do with this? I don't know for sure but I'd guess it might.

As you may recall dear reader (the one of you that is out there), POTUS' Department of Homeland Security recently said: the U.S. Government was developing a "working group" to try and come up with “guidance" on how to provide for "appropriate discretionary consideration" for “compelling cases” in instances where someone has already been ordered out of the country by a judge. (Like both Uncle Omar and Aunt Zetunia were). Selective enforcement of the law is so cool isn't it?! I want to be President.

Guess It Worked

After protesting against a President they support, for policies he supported but didn't really support, but that U.S. Citizens actually did support, they won. POTUS has backed down. Who is they? Well, we're not really sure but whoever they are they support people being in the country who did not have the proper authorization to do so. That makes me think "they" are probably very ethical people who believe in the rule of law. So what does all this gibberish mean? It means the U.S. Federal Government is no longer enforcing the laws of the United States because they've decided their efforts could be better directed elsewhere. Where you ask? Well toward immigrants who came to the country in violation of immigration law who also happen to have "criminal" backgrounds. What's the difference you ask? Semantics, I answer. Did you know that speeding is technically not "criminal" but you'd probably say it's still illegal wouldn't you? I mean you went faster than the law permitted.... so that's not complying with the law. It's "illegal" then no? Ah, oh well. Here's a map of the estimated population of "unauthorized" immigrants who reside in the country. As of three years ago. Imagine what it is today.

Also, they have decided, at least in part, to overule the law which has already been adjudicated. The head of the Department of Homeland Security recently said this: Ms. Napolitano said a working group will try to come up with “guidance" on how to provide for "appropriate discretionary consideration" for “compelling cases” in instances where someone has already been ordered out of the country by a judge. SOooo, here we have the Administration saying they want to make a better use of their resources by focusing on high priority cases. However, the woman charged with keeping us safe has said she will provide "guidance" to revisit cases which were "compelling." What the heck does that mean? It means they are getting a group of people together (i.e. "resources") and making them spend time, effort and money on re-reviewing cases which were "compelling" (i.e. involving people of influence) to provide "guidance" (i.e. obfuscation of the law) so that "justice" (i.e. garnering political votes) may occur.

In the end, the U.S. Secretary of the DHS has openly announced that she intends to overrule a judges decision. How is that possible? What POSSIBLE guidance could you give to a judge who has already ruled a person should be deported pursuant to the law of the United States of America?!?! What the hell is going on in this country?

Protesting Common Sense

Protestors in south Florida are joining a nationwide effort against POTUS / Obama for making the Secure Communities program mandatory. If you're unfamiliar with the program, it requires local authorities to run background checks on people they have ARRESTED or booked in jail to see if they are in the country illegally (or should be deported per Federal law). If this sounds eerily similar to the Arizona law that POTUS is currently spending lots of tax dollars fighting... its because it is.

Oddly, people who generally support liberal causes appear to be campaigning against (nay protesting against) POTUS for implementing a program which is progressively similar to a conservative backed movement.... which POTUS opposes but is implementing... to opposition by his own supporters? I think. I can't really keep it all straight but I guess the point is, there's no making sense of the senseless. I don't really see how someone could protest against enforcing the laws of the United States (which are almost universally supported by the U.S. public at large) but apparently some people are... It's all very strange. Generally, I thought secure borders and holding drug runners/human traffickers accountable was a good thing, no?
