The economy is still in the tanks and so the Great Recession is still underway. Domestic and global outlook is not promising. Job loss is still around 7.8% but the actual out-of-work figures are skyrocketing as people simply give up on trying to find jobs.
In terms of domestic tranquility, we are now testing spy drones, domestically (HERE IN THE U.S.) for the purported goals of achieving "public safety." Specific details have not been outlined but the continued march towards domestic focused foreign policy seems to continue. Each week it seems we are learning more and more about federal efforts to closely monitor private citizens. Chipper.

The POTUS is using Sesame Street and Big Bird to make salient, intelligent political commentary about presidential competitor, Mitt Romney. As funny as that sentence is, its actually not because it's true. We're using cartoons now. Might as well roll out the pop-up books next.

On the actual Wall Street, there is something referred to as "high frequency trading" going on. That's not abnormal but a new -- or newly discovered -- algorithm gummed up the stock exchange and dominated roughly 10% of the bandwidth for placing orders (and accounted for 4% of all trades). Essentially, a technological stress test was conducted by some unknown party for some unknown reason. The algorithm used was designed to allow high frequency traders primary access to move stocks around will barring or limiting competition from other traders. TCD is unsure who's behind this algorithm so I put this news topic in the domestic-abroad category.

In abroad, proper, POTUS congratulated Hugo Chavez on his win in the Venezuelan presidential race. Yes, the same Chavez that likes to kid around about shooting a nuke at us and plays host to Iranian, Chinese and Russian interests every chance he gets.

I believe TCD's last guesstimate on a testable warhead was mid-year 2013. Seems like they're on schedule for that deadline. The newer Fordo site in Iran is capable of enriching uranium up to 20% (which can be rapidly converted into bomb levels). Fordo is running at roughly 1/3 capacity; meaning if they fire up all of the centrifuges Iran can pump out enough fissile material to make a bomb each month. We're also told that Iran has likely been testing a trigger for a warhead. We know for a fact that they have several ICBMs now, so really, it's only a matter of time.

Obviously, Iran is not seeking peaceful nuclear energy. I think the fact that they sit on top of a ton of oil should have been a good indicator that they didn't really need the nuclear physicist for addressing domestic energy needs. Maybe they just need to build really good medical equipment. That probably explains why they're enriching Uranium up to 20% now. We know it's not for Iran's "nuclear energy infrastructure." Iran has only one nuclear reactor. They don't need 20% uranium to run it. It can run on 3% and they have plenty of 3%...

Several U.S. embassies were recently stormed by "peaceful" extremist, muslim Jihadists. During the peaceful protests several Americans were killed including an Ambassador in Libya. After the initial wave of attacks on the embassy, it seems the peaceful muslims then proceeded to a nearby safe house to kill families and other Americans who retreated to the undisclosed location for security.

Following the attack on the consulate in Libya, additional attacks took place in Cairo, Egypt and Tunisia.

The black flag of Al Qaeda was raised and American interests were set on fire. Small incidents have also developed in Yemen, Lebanon, Afghanistan and elsewhere. At home, there have been bomb threats in Texas and several other states. There are additional "protests" taking place throughout the Middle East. What is POTUS's response? The Administration has taken the official position that the reason for the violence is an absurd film by a proclaimed American Coptic Christian. The film patronizes Muhammad and generally criticizes Islam as being violent. As a result, Obama has asked Youtube to suppress the first amendment rights of a U.S. citizen in hopes that, somehow, this will placate Al Qaeda. Judging by the trailers, this movie looks horrible and trivializes the actual violence taking place against actual Coptic Christians in Egypt. So how can this be the flashpoint for the current violence? Either the followers of Al Qaeda Islam are really insane (such that they would kill over something so dumb) or our President is completely in the dark about what is really happening over there. Perhaps, both answers are correct.

We now know that POTUS Obama's first round of Mid-East apologies wasn't successful. Perhaps it will work on the second try? After all, these people seem mentally grounded.
Domestically, Solyndra's failure (and your tax dollars) have been converted into a multi-million dollar loss that is on display as "art." Yes, the green economy of the future is based on converting billions in cash into trinkets that do nothing but look interesting.

A Mormon owned t.v. station has recently decided that it will not run a show about a gay couple who is utilizing surrogacy to create a biological child (and which airs during prime-time when the "family" is traditionally huddled around the t.v.). The Mormon church, as you may know, is a bit conservative and teaches highly offensive things like heterosexual marriage between adults and a belief in God (and the book of Mormon... but whatever the point is, they're conservative). Naturally, the t.v. station's decision to not run the show has been met with calls of prejudice, hate-mongering and the ever-ubiquitous allegation of "homophobia."

Distilled, this real-life social drama boils down to a group (Mormon types) choosing not to advance views they disagree with. And so, they deserve punishment and vitriol. In the end, we walk away learning that the "New Normal" has more to do with forcing opinions on others and less to do with allowing people to live their lives -- or run their businesses-- as they see fit. In fact, GLAAD has made it a point to call the church "dangerous." GLAAD's president stated the church was sending a "dangerous" message by not running the show with their message (GLAAD's) embedded in it. HA! How very democratic of them. One "star" of the show, Ellen Barkin, called the church "shameful." (Ms. Barkin plays the intolerant, conservative bigot).

The real issue for me is the fact that the show looks absolutely horrible. Why didn't KSL-TV just say, "This show is horrendously bad. It's stereotypical portrayal of conservatives is tired. The "jokes" are obvious, boring, un-creative and, frankly, not funny. Plus, the characters seem like snotty annoying jerks. So, we've decided to run infomercials for an hour instead." No one would have batted an eye. The truth is, if the show had been half as good as Modern Family, KSL-TV might have actually put it on the air. Crappy product combined with excessive liberal politics is a recipe for disaster in any market; let alone a conservative one.

In other interesting news, a liberal media group is running an article about homosexuality being the result of environmental influences; more so, than biological predeterminations. Hmmm, it seems environment can shape who we are. I think I now understand why GLAAD is so offended by the Mormon attempts to defend their culture. We can't simply allow other people to teach something we disagree with. That would be... freedom. Ewww, gross.

Here's another interesting note on screaming liberal tolerance. During a recent political ruckus, a GLBT advocate / lesbian decided to advance "change." The method for effecting such change was to stage an attack by proclaimed male Christians who allegedly cut the woman in various places, carved derogatory terms into her skin and then cut a large cross in her chest. The police have now demonstrated (and she has plead guilty to the charge) of fabricating the attack. Basically, she carved a cross in her own chest and said "Look what these Christians did to me!" I guess her point was that Christians are horrible people who openly attack homosexuals with knives... Since, after all, this is the middle ages. If that isn't her point, I'm not exactly sure what "change" she was trying to bring about. That gays shouldn't trust themselves or their own views about Christians? Her statement was certainly provocative but I think it points the intolerant finger more in her direction than at the Bible readers.

Never underestimate desperate, imbalanced people. Their form of political debate is the trickiest kind to combat.

Nearly two (2) years have passed since Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was killed by guns provided to drug lords through our federal government. You will note that, to date, there has been absolutely no punishment of any individual within the Department of Justice for this atrocity. Eric Holder, the guy who is supposed to make us safe by establishing the rule of law, has openly refused to supply requested documents which would indicate the individuals responsible for permitting this atrocity. Supreme Legal Eagle Holder has repeatedly refused to apply and defend countless laws in the United States and now openly thumbs his nose at a Congressional Subpoena. As a result, he was held in contempt, yet, still serves at the President's pleasure. Surely, he'll turn over the documents now right? Wrong. The House has been forced to file suit to enforce its subpoena through the courts. The irony is that morons like Nancy Pelosi have the audacity to claim that the House, by enforcing it's powers and the flipping LAW, is somehow wasting tax dollars... because Holder refuses to follow the law. I know. It makes no sense. Honestly, even as a liberal, why would you allow someone to run your party who is so incompetent and boldy dishonest?! So what if she votes the way you'd like her to, she makes the entire group seem utterly insane.

More from the story:

Terry was killed in December 2010 in a gun fight with bandits who had crossed the U.S.- Mexico border. Two of the weapons recovered at the scene were part of Fast and Furious, an Obama administration operation that was supposed to try to track guns being sold to Mexican
cartels, but which lost track of the weapons, allowing thousands to
stream across the border.

Two things to note... This is "THOUSANDS" of weapons we are talking about. It took two (really only one) to result in the death of officer Terry. How many more are going to die from the other "unaccounted for" guns? Secondly, we need to expand on the idea that the guns were "lost track of." That's not really accurate. In reality, we are told that the federal powers running this operation specifically ordered that we ignore the gun's movement. The D.O.J. / BATFE put guns into the hands of murdering scum and specifically told agents to shut up when they protested the idiocy of the act. Moreover, they told them not to follow or track the weapons. And when they blew the whistle? They threatened, demoted and punished them.

Fast and Furious is so "special" because it utilized “uncontrolled delivery,” whereby the criminals were essentially
allowed to drop off the map. Moreover, the operation wasn't conducted with the cooperation or knowledge of the Mexican government. Splendid.

_____________

Also, as we all know, the TSA is utterly and absolutely worthless. Yesterday (or somewhere there abouts) an individual swam up to a fence, climbed over it and sauntered past a $100 Million "super-duper high tech" monitoring system.... all the way past the candy cane forest and right into the airport... No, this isn't fiction. It's TSA at its finest. Good job TSA! You deserve more of our tax dollars!!! I'm so glad you fondle our junk. That way, at least we know we are getting some return on our money.

We had a forced hiatus for a while due to a combination of work and other trivialties which I won't bore you with but the good news is there are TONS of things going on out there in the world that deserve the scorn and sarcasm of The Duck.

So, first and foremost, let us recall POTUS's brilliant words that if you are a small business owner, you "didn't build that [business]" because the federal government or some public teacher did. What?! How utterly absurd. Highways didn't develop until Henry Ford began mass producing cars. The internet may have been born, technically (kind of), from U.S. military application but civilians showed the government how to use it and the potential for its use. Moreover, the computers that lead to the development of said internet started off with private citizens more so than any government action. So, using POTUS's logic, the private individual is responsible for all that the federal government has done since 1941 give or take a few years.. A computer created/exploited the internet, so the computer gets all the credit right? Of course the foolishness of this intellectual gibberish is beyond the mental faculties of a union minded, big government person... Meahhh... so be it. Here is POTUS's reasoning summed up by one very clever individual (and which I find utterly hilarious):

"How about that Michael Phelps? [TCD Edit- THE Greatest Olympian Ever] But let's remember he didn't win all
those medals, someone else did. After all, he and I swam in public

the U.S.O.C. and ate food grown by the Department of Agriculture. He should
... share his medals with people like me, who can barely keep
[their] head[s] above water, let alone swim."

In other news, Amtrak managed to lose over $800 million selling cheeseburgers and sodas. Despite the fact that a burger will cost you over $9 as a rider, they still managed to lose another $7 on top of that. Amtrak riders also pay roughly $2.00 for a Pepsi but each of these sodas cost the U.S. Treasury $3.40.... [You will note that ] Amazon.com is currently selling 24-packs of 12 ounce Pepsi cans for $8.94 -- which averages to about 75 cents per can." "How in the heck is it possible for Amtrak to screw up so bad," you ask? Because the federal government is REALLY good at running businesses and in doing all things basically. Way better in fact than say, Chick-Fil-A...

Which leads us to this story: Mayors and city councilman/alderman have recently vowed to exclude Chick-Fil-A from their communities after the privately-owned company's president expressed his belief that marriage should be defined as it is in the Bible (and which also happens to be the federal law, for the record). Chick-Fil-A, as an organization, also donates to several non-profit groups that discourage homosexual lifestyles and/or gay marriage. As a result, Dan Cathy's views have been dubbed "hate speech" and "bigotry." Simply holding a different opinion about something is not "hate speech" but in this day and age anything with a Christian perspective IS considered hate speech so, maybe, under modern terminology it technically is... (of course, in which case, the belief that one should "love thy neighbor" is also hate speech... technically) To come to this "hate filled" conclusion we obviously must ignore the fact that Chick-Fil-A gladly serves homosexuals in their restaurants, hires them as employees and allows them to advance within the company.

Here's the Awesome Scale as I imagine it.

(UTTERLY AWESOME) ------ (IGNORANTLY CHIPPER) ------ (IGNORANT IN GENERAL) ------ (FINANCIAL BAILOUT / T.A.R.P.) ----- (QUANTITATIVE EASING; QE2; QE3) ------ (EURO BAILOUT) ------ (PROGRESSIVE AGENDA SUCCESS) ------ (LOAD THE CAR & RUN)

Now, you might think that Utterly Awesome would be the "good" side of the scale but unfortunately you're wrong because this scale monitors world mood, not the actual state of existence. So the closer we are to the Utterly Awesome side of things, the closer we are to impending destruction. I like to think that this very-backward approach is a good representation of how quixotic things are.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14824415663628365757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7245220159562651603.post-58276558137772046342012-06-07T13:54:00.003-07:002012-06-21T11:45:44.952-07:00Fast And Furious- Creating More Fury

That is not something you should say openly about the Attorney General of the United States of America but I can interpret this story as nothing less than intentional, blatant disregard for the truth; which, to me, is lying. Supreme Legal Eagle, Eric Holder, who knows nothing about nothing when it comes to his department (or what lead to border patrol agent, Brian Terry's death), recently said that emails specifically referencing "Fast and Furious" have nothing to do with Fast and Furious / Brian Terry but rather another program called "Wide Receiver."

Unfortunately for Mr. Holder, the email states that it IS referring to "Fast and Furious" in addition to "Laura's Tuscon Case [a.k.a. Wide Receiver]." Moreover, it makes references (plural) in the same sentence to both Fast & Furious and Wide Receiver which are separated by only one word, "AND." So to say that "Fast & Furious" means "Wide Receiver," these guys would actually have to be saying- We're worried about Fast & Furious and that Fast & Furious case. That makes no sense right? Neither does Eric Holder's statement unless he's intentionally lying to misled Congress.

Why is this relevant? If it's not obvious to you by now, you should go put your head in an oven. It is relevant for a fistful of reasons. The first of which being that it helps prove upper echelon people in the D.O.J., headed by Mr. Holder, knew about and likely approved of the tactics used in Fast & Furious. Mr. Holder has testified that he did not know about Fast & Furious until after the Terry shooting incident and that he disapproved of the tactics used. The referenced emails clearly indicate otherwise.

As a result, political opinions on the Pro-Life versus Pro-Choice debate are reflecting new, fundamental understandings about growing fetuses and what value they may have. We are forced to confront decisions about the human soul which were more easily swept under the rug 30 years ago. Perhaps, we are finally realizing that fetuses are more than "parasites" growing in-utero? (Even if we collectively don't believe in the soul, surely they aren't just parasites are they!)

Feminists in the United States turned pregnancy into a women's rights issue in the1920's (clearly it is linked to those rights but is it an exclusively female issue?). However, after years of outrageous claims by hardline feminists (e.g. growing infants are no different than cancerous tumors) their has been a backlash of public opinion. Scientific knowledge has advanced a long way since 1920 and these incredible claims no longer carry weight with an educated public. Yet, still, some of these arguments persist. (Lets not forget the group of individuals recently advocating for post-birth abortion, i.e. infanticide, because, in their view, there is no difference between a fetus and a newly born child.) TCD anticipates that over time, these positions will be very faux pas in the Pro-Choice movement because they are not received well by the public at large, though, it seems, many Pro-Choicers still firmly believe that fetuses aren't "human."

Voter Fraud is prevalent throughout the United States and in greater numbers than anyone wants to admit. Voting is the fundamental reason why common citizens (you, John Q. Public) feel like they have a say in Government. The great majority of people will never run for office but most of us will vote. If you undermine that, you undermine the entire country. So why would anyone resist efforts to purify the voting process? Because if you can't win legally you might as well cheat.

In the state of Florida alone, there were as many as 53,000 deceased individuals still on the voting records who could have cast ballots from beyond the grave (because no one checks photo ID's at the time of voting...remember?). There are also nearly 200,000 people registered to vote in the state illegally. Florida has a population of roughly 19 million individuals, so that 53,000 number seems like a small percentage. Until you realize that the entire U.S. presidency came down to less than 1,000 votes during the 2000 elections. So, you see, Mr. Holder, there is voter fraud and it is a problem.

Iran- Coming Soon?

(blah blah blah)..." which Google loosely translates to mean, "We Are Crazy, We Don't Care What You Say, Crazy Wins, Crazy Wins Always!"

Iran is still enriching uranium to higher levels. Iran is still violating U.N. sanctions. Iran is still sending weapons to Syria. Iran is still bringing in materials necessary for enriching uranium to weapons grade levels. Iran is still working on an ICBM (soon to be topped with the aforementioned highly enriched uranium). So, basically, nothing has changed since the sanctions went into effect and this whole brew-ha-ha kicked off. Why do we think things might change this time? Because Iran has agreed to "met" and "talk?" No, because we are a bit crazy also. I understand the desire to try all options but the end conclusion is inevitable- Iran will never cease its attempts to develop an atomic bomb. They are simply buying time.

Israel is getting concerned because Iran has said repeatedly, and recently, that the Israelis need to be wiped off of the face of the planet. So, Israel is getting ever more serious about destroying Iran's nuclear processing facilities. As time goes on, those facilities are hardened and Israel is reaching a point where, strategically, their hand may be forced. The United States has been saying, take 'er easy Isreal, but as of this week the U.S. Ambassador recently stated that American attack plans were already in place and ready to go. Meaning, we're starting to agree that an attack may be necessary and sooner rather than later (though POTUS doesn't want this and it is possibly a rhetorical signal to Iran for the current "negotiations" between our countries).

Oh, and Egpytian politicians are really starting to lay on the "destroy Israel" rhetoric pretty heavily.

POTUS was recently quoted as saying that JP Morgan, the bank that recently lost more than $2 Billion on a bet, is "one of the best managed banks"
in the world. JP Morgan's Dimon, one of the individuals responsible
for the bet, is one of the brightest in the industry he goes on to
claim. So why is this relevant? First off, if you can lose $2 Billion
on a bet, you probably shouldn't take the bet even if you're as big as
JP Morgan and can handle the loss. Secondly, it demonstrates how far
out of touch POTUS is with the rest of the nation. In making the
statement, he was actually trying to make a point which is, if JP Morgan
is one of the best run private banks, and they still lost money, then
we should have more government regulation over those banks.
Essentially, because, even though Dimon is one of the brightest, he
isn't quite as smart as a federal bureaucrat. What specific regulation
proposed by POTUS under additional "wall street reform" would have
prevented this? None. The purported Volcker Rule is so vague it is
pointless. Don't get the Duck wrong, we dislike poorly managed banks as much as the
next guy but in this case, more government regulations really
wouldn't have changed anything. The best way to punish banks is for people to leave those banks. Vote with your cash.

MORAL DECAY UPDATE:

NY Court of Appeals recently stated that merely viewing child pornography isn't a crime, in and of itself. A New York professor "merely" viewed the images on his computer which is evidently not illegal. So, the Professor would walk but for federal laws preventing exploitation of children. What the heck is wrong with NEW YORK JUDGES?! I praise Judges Graeffo and Pigot for dissenting against their moronic counter parts on the New York Court of Appeals.

"In fact, Obama has not 'evolved'—he has changed his position whenever
his political fortunes required him to do so. Running for the Illinois

ARMAGEDDON UPDATE: Greece has a far left politician who is working to reject the Greek bailout plan proposed by Europe and the Troika. The plan requires the country to cut its spending habits (the ones that caused Greece's problems in the first place) and to raise taxes. The politician who is opposed to reason is named Alexi Tsipras. He is a socialist / quasi-communist who caused markets around the world to reel this week after announcing his goal of stopping the bailout proposal (and opposing austerity measures which are needed to stablize Greece's debt spiral). Mr. Tsipras has made these statements before but now he's getting close to accomplishing his goals. What do we care? Well, it's probably going to get Greece booted from the Euro-zone, further endangering the Euro, and, therefore, good ol' America. Who knew Apocalyptic Contagion would actually refer to the economy when its all said and done.

Did you know Greece has a mandated, minimum of four (4) weeks paid vacation? They felt four weeks was crazy... so they want six.

But think of the good news, Greece will probably be selling really cool statues for cheap in about three (3) months.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14824415663628365757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7245220159562651603.post-43968287629522647552012-05-07T10:46:00.000-07:002012-06-19T09:23:14.637-07:00Socialism Marches

Capitalism Progresses. There's a difference.

The world economic upheaval continues. It seems to TCD, that part of the problem develops from countries having too many bills and not enough money to pay those bills. (I know, our economic prowess is stunning). So investors don't like those countries and they decide to leave them (physically and financially) when those countries try to take more and more of their money. So, the countries wind up in an even worse position to pay said bills. Some of those countries include:

France, Greece and Spain (the U.S. doesn't fit here because we just print more money... although... POTUS is promising to raise taxes on the wealthy 10% so they are paying more than they currently are... which is 70% of the bill). Ok, ok, add us to the list but we're still not socialist.

So what to do when you have no money? Obviously, you decide "austerity measures" are cruel because they sound cruel and you go right on spending money. Excellent plan! How could this happen? In short, socialism (or socialist theory rather).

There are various kinds of Socialism. There is small socialism like when the government taxes you at a greater percentage than your neighbor (and gives that money to Amtrak in the form of subsidies for four decades without them ever making a profit)... And then there is great big Socialism like when the government takes everything you own and tells you that you don't deserve more than others simply by virtue of working harder.... and calls you scum in the process. (For the record, to get more under Big Socialism, you must be a leader in the Socialist Working Party! Like these guys in China, who are technically communists but there is no major distinction between Communism and Socialism when you get to the far end of the spectrum.)
Oh you silly politicians.

POTUS's stance on gay marriage
(which is officially, "I don't know") is either irony or hypocrisy.
I'll let you, dear reader, decide which. Recently, Vice President Biden, a
self-declared devote Catholic, stated he is greatly in favor of gay
marriage. POTUS, on the other hand, is not really against it or for it
but is for it in a way but has said some stuff indicating he is against
it kind of in a way while still supporting it but not directly ever in any way, kind of, somewhat, a little. Confused? Indeed. Why can't
politicians just say what they truly believe? Something fundamental
like this should elicit a clear position one way or the other. Why
wouldn't you just come right out and support gay marriage if you support
gay marriage? The reason is politics, plain and simple. POTUS has a
long tradition of splitting the fence and taking no position. You can
get away with that during a lot of local elections but at the federal
level, especially for the presidency, at some point, someone is going to
catch on. A friend of TCD's once wrote an article on POTUS' squishy,
no-position on every-position approach to politics and that refrain
seems to be catching steam in the media these days. Take this article for example.

Another political irony comes from Elizabeth Warren who has claimed for years that she is native American (and seems to have benefited substantially from that partial identity). However, it turns out she probably isn't Cherokee and, in fact, had family members who were responsible for rounding up natives and sending them down the Trail of Tears.
Fast and Furious Update: the gun runner project that lead to the death of Brian Terry following the ATF's and Attorney General Eric Holder's malfeasance, has turned up a third gun from the scene where the border patrol agent was murdered. Evidently, this information was suppressed (hidden intentionally, actually) but we have no idea why. Also, in case you were wondering, Eric Holder has still yet to punish ANYONE for the death of a U.S. Citizen. Not one single person.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14824415663628365757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7245220159562651603.post-91072953605287532282012-04-23T06:58:00.001-07:002012-05-15T07:39:22.364-07:00FALCON HTV-2 Update

DARPA, the U.S. corps of mad scientists, launched a hypersonic test vehicle a while back. We commented on that story briefly and mentioned that the first time we sent one of these up (and the only other time) the test vehicle imploded. Or so the government told us. Then came HTV-2 which was essentially a slightly tweaked version of HTV-1. It too managed to fly at hypersonic speeds (Mach 20 in fact!) and like HTV-1, it proceeded to suffer structural anomalies after roughly nine (9) minutes of flight. The vehicle then pitched over and presumably turned into a flaming ball of dust. Allegedly. In reality, I'm pretty confident the Falcon actually went back in time. It seems Mach 20 is the real speed you need to reach. Not 88 mph.
We have a running theme around here about how crazy the world is. (See). But there are some countries that really typify the insanity. Usually, they are far flung places like:

North Korea: where they plan to launch long range missiles which are capable of carrying nuclear warheads. And, because missiles aren't always labeled accurately (sarcasm), there's no way for the international community to know if the North is trying to launch satellites or to practice sending up nukes... or actually sending up nukes... Part of the confusion might be the fact that North Korea has said they will detonate a third nuclear bomb as part of a "test"... around the time they send up the new long range missiles. So Japan and the U.S. plan on shooting down any big rocket that goes up. North Korea is super angry about that and has planned "merciless retaliation." [Meaning they plan on throwing a hissy-fit and then getting their rears handed to them by Japan, South Korea and the good ol' U.S. of A. if they are dumb enough to actually send artillery into the South.]

Then there's places like Iran. Iran, is very much crazy. So much so, that they skew the "crazy" bell-curve so far right that things like modern day imperialism seem pretty mundane (e.g. the Falkland Island dispute between Argentina and the U.K.).
A tragedy has occurred in Sanford, Florida and it is being exploited for racial politics. A young man, who was unarmed, was shot by a community volunteer watchman. The young man died following the incident and Sanford police began an investigation of the shooting.

While no one knows what happened exactly, a large number of people are arguing that the shooting was driven by racism. The watchman and his family have maintained that he was acting in self-defense. There are reports that the watchman was on the ground after someone screamed for help. Grass was found on the watchman's back after the incident which corroborates his position to some degree. A witness reported that after he saw the watchman on the ground, he heard a gun go off but did not witness the struggle between the watchman and the young man. Another witness states there was no struggle at all and therefore this was not self-defense. Despite there being no clear racial overtures, this incident has become a national argument about prejudice in America. One "leader" in the black community has gone so far to say that, “[s]oon the law of retaliation may very well be applied...”

An MSNBC host went on to comment that GOP candidates are responsible for the death of Trayvon Martin. That is not a joke. The theory goes, that because Trayvon is a minority and because he was in a primarily white neighborhood, he was targeted by the watchman who had underlying racial prejudices. And because GOP candidates are racist, as a group, they must have helped radicalize the watchman. There's only one problem with that theory. The watchman is a minority himself. Oh, AND he's a registered democrat. (Also, the neighborhood is more mixed ethnicity than anyone cares to admit).
Smart devices provide excellent little bread trails about your activities. (When you get home, what you're interested in, etc., etc., etc.) So the Federales want to use those devices for espionage.

If that doesn't get your dander up, at least a little, then THIS might. POTUS has issued some sort of martial law related executive order for assessing apocalyptic preparedness... and ensuring there are sufficient resources to stifle any domestic concerns.

That wouldn't be sooo bad (the same order, essentially, has been around for years) if our Government didn't have a history of taking things a little too far in terms of control. See Interment Camps.

When viewed in conjunction with stories like this you can see why people are getting a little nervous about federal authority. Attorney General Eric Holder (the guy whose department bought a gun, sold it to drug lords and then allowed those same drug lords to kill a U.S. border patrol agent... with the gun we sold them... and then claimed that U.S. citizens were the one's selling guns illegally to drug lords) is extremely anti-gun. So much so, that he had commercials created so we could "brainwash" kids into hating firearms. That's right. Instead of teaching citizens about their rights and how to exercise them responsibly, he'd rather you just completely fore go those rights all together... by brainwashing you. Probably not the best choice of words Eric.

And then there's the TSA. As much as we talk about the TSA you would think some of this stuff is made up. Sadly, it isn't. The Transportation Security Authority really is that bad.

This past week they actually made a wheelchair bound child go through an "enhanced" pat-down. His parents were not permitted to be with the child during the "professional" molestation.

Another TSA worker was recently indicted on federal child pornography charges. But that doesn't reflect on the TSA or their hiring process...

Yet another TSA worker was arrested with a boatload of heroin packaged for street sale. Seems like a solid group of folks over there at the TSA.

The United States Department of "Justice," run by Supreme Legal Eagle, Eric Holder (the same guy associated with the "fast and furious" program that killed a U.S. Citizen/Border Patrol Agent) has successfully prevented Texas and South Carolina from combating illegal voting.

Eric Holder and the DOJ have said that requiring photo-identification for voting purposes is "discriminatory" towards minorities. The reasoning goes something like this, because illegal aliens can't get photo identification easily / legally (that's a joke because they can) and because those individuals are often minorities, then the law(s) are racist. Or some other illogical gibberish along those lines. Honestly, it takes a matter of minutes to get an I.D. and we've had this discussion before. So how can requiring photo I.D. be a racial issue? Politics. That's the only explanation. In the end, if you are not competent enough to get a state issued photo I.D., you really shouldn't be permitted to vote. Either that or the DMV needs a serious revamp (an entirely debatable point... I would be more likely to concede to the NAACP and DOJ on this point but they choose to go with Racism instead so here we are...)

So, instead of focusing on the very real concern of voter fraud, our Department of "JUSTICE" [***] has decided to fight states seeking to protect the integrity of our most fundamental right... and in the process, diluting your ability to effectively participate in government. Here's a quote from the story that I found interesting:

Proponents of such legislation say the measures are aimed at combating voter fraud. But advocacy groups for minorities and the poor dispute that and argue there is no evidence of significant voter fraud. (emphasis added)

Oh really? What about this... or this... or this... or this... or.... You get the point.

Perhaps it is stories like the one above, in combination with the economic ice age (brought about largely by the current administration's policies), that has lead to POTUS's approval rate dropping precipitously.

*** "Justice" herein refers to a department apparently driven by political motivation and primarily concerned with drumming up political support for politicians currently looking terrible in the political arena but still seeking to retain political office through quasi-legal political voting systems. Justice, as used supra, shall not be confused with upholding the actual laws of the United States but, rather, should impart a feeling that the term involves re-interpreting judicial decisions under a set of contexts which are neither applicable nor relevant and, further, for the express purpose of nullifying actual voting "law(s)" as enacted by the people of the respective states.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14824415663628365757noreply@blogger.com0
