You're really stretching when you say it's racist to require someone to show identification before voting. That didn't stop the NAACP from attempting to take over the U.N. and have a large portion of the United States declared insurrectionist bigots. Voting is the most fundamental right in the United States. Every time someone casts a ballot that does not have legitimate grounds to do so, your vote is diluted and the entire system is undermined (it's also illegal).
Besides, how hard is it to get a photo ID in the first place? This is the 21st century isn't it? Heck, the guy across the street will sell me a fake one for $20. OH, and most states require you to have a photo-ID to register to vote in the first place... so how is asking to see it at the time of voting racist?
