Around The World: Interesting Articles For Today

Today will be a very brief around the world because I feel  lazy.

ABROAD:

Greece has defaulted in a pretty big, yet controlled way.

Spain is in the process of defaulting which may lead to economic contagion. (including Portugal and possibly Italy)

France has a horrible economy but it doesn't appear that people are willing to cut spending so the socialists march on.

The Dutch economy is actually worse than France's (and is near collapse which means the Euro-zone is closer to self-destruction and, therefore, so are we because of entanglement).

AT HOME:

Racism is racism is racism but I doubt we will hear any protesting by race-baiting politicians calling for action in this case.

POTUS is using a slush fund to hide the fact that Obamacare will gut Medicare.  Politics. (Trickery to the tune of $8  BILLION dollars...)

Fast and Furious Update: the gun runner project that lead to the death of Brian Terry following the ATF's and Attorney General Eric Holder's malfeasance, has turned up a third gun from the scene where the border patrol agent was murdered.  Evidently, this information was suppressed (hidden intentionally, actually) but we have no idea why.  Also, in case you were wondering, Eric Holder has still yet to punish ANYONE for the death of a U.S. Citizen.  Not one single person.
