TSA Really Wants Your Junk.

Not just your "junk" junk but also your iPad, laptop, cameras and anything else they can stick down their pants.

Not content enough with fondling body parts, this TSA AGENT decided he should go a step further and actually get some of your junk in his pants. This fellow stole more than $50k in passenger's gear in ONE week. Thankfully, the folks at TSA can be trusted. They have a "strict" background screening process and only the finest of characters can work there. Nothing to see, now move along.

Some folks over at another blog and another blog indicated this guy was actually hired back in 2009. Hmmm, wonder how he slipped through the cracks. He must have just recently started stealing stuff, otherwise TSA certainly would have caught him before right?

UH-OH

You think TSA is invasive now, wait till you see the device they come up with to check for these types of devices. The gloved finger won't be enough.

FUN Topics of the Day!

Abortion. It's a fun topic and no one seems to agree on it. What is interesting is that pro-choice advocates sometimes see abortion as bad. For example, a scholar recently had this to say about the millions of female babies that are being aborted (or killed after being born) in India, China and Eurasia. Remember, only female fetuses are the ones being aborted:

"'Ms. Hvistendahl is particularly worried that the "right wing" or the "Christian right"—as she labels those whose politics differ from her own—will use sex-selective abortion as part of a wider war on abortion itself. She believes that something must be done about the purposeful aborting of female babies or it could lead to feminists "worst nightmare" - a ban on all abortions.'"

Following this bit of logic through to it's conclusion... Abortion should be acceptable but abortion of females, specifically, is bad. Ultimately, it seems this well thought position leads to the conclusion: "Abortion is ok, if it is a male fetus." Thanks Ms. Hyisterndahl for clearing that up. I think I now understand. Abortion, generally, is good and abortion of females is bad but willful abortion of males is probably ok?

Another brilliant mind recently made the argument that abortion itself is a good response to a bad situation. Not that abortion itself is ever sad or tragic, rather it is a "moral good" and the procedure is as inconsequential as an appendectomy. Interesting analysis. I didn't realize the appendix could become a living sentient being. It's also interesting to contrast the positions of these pro-abortion scholars.

If abortion is generally good and the procedure itself is inconsequential because it is a good response to a bad situation.... how then are the females aborted in India and China a bad thing? A family in India and China wants to abort females so they can have more money and better economic status. That's actually an argument used by the people above in the "Yahoo Answers" article as a good reason for aborting children. Seems to me, abortion from the progressive mind is either always good, or only good when it involves the male fetus? Either way it seems kind of hard to reconcile the positions.

Afghanistan

We have recently learned that we are pulling out of Afghanistan where we are conducting an "unjust war" against "innocent people." POTUS is charged with a difficult task of deciding what is best for the country, even though the military may not recommend a withdrawal (but rather an increase). This is a political decision that probably isn't very easy given the limited support in the U.S. and the very difficult task of controlling a large country with limited forces. However, that difficult task has been created by the President himself, in condemning the wars from the outset and hmmm-ing and hawww-ing about whether he should send more troops in the first place. That difficult task, is now all the more difficult because we will have even fewer boots on the ground. This is a departure from the Powell "overwhelming force doctrine" which makes little sense.

We would like to make it very clear that we disagree with this withdrawal because it will be viewed as a disgrace to those injured or killed in Afghanistan and Iraq. Having lost an extended family member, this affects me to some degree. It has affected my family a great deal more. I can only imagine their frustration at hearing this news but I do not speak for them.

However, even in disagreeing with POTUS' decision, and as much as I hate to say it, perhaps it's a good thing we are pulling out now because it is becoming clear that POTUS doesn't seem to understand what's going on. A half-hearted war is the surest way to get a lot of soldiers injured or killed. General MacArthur was correct when he observed, "War's very object is victory, not prolonged indecision. In war, there is no substitute for victory."

Granted, an early withdrawal will probably get US Citizens killed down the road, but we can only hope our counter-surveillance will be sufficient to prevent another attack. Lord knows TSA is doing its job (sarcasm).



The basis of my comments comes from POTUS' recent "gaff" while speaking to a very important group of soldiers:

Recently while addressing the US Army's, 10th Mountain Division, POTUS failed to recall the facts surrounding the first posthumously awarded Medal of Honor. For those of you who aren't military, or on planet Earth, the Medal of Honor is the highest honor that can be awarded for military valor. It is a big deal. The award is frequently awarded posthumously because going beyond the call of duty will almost always get you killed. The person who received the first MOH, should probably stick out in your mind. If you are going to give a political speech about it, you should probably get your facts straight because if you don't, you're really going to look like a jerk and people will write blogs about you.

I do understand POTUS has a lot on his plate lately. Especially, between trying to "fix" the economy and apologize for all of America's horrible mistakes, but this "slip" can only serve as an insult. I am hopeful that an apology was issued to the family. Knowing a few military people, I'm sure they would welcome the apology and not think twice about it. However, for me, I'm not that forgiving. I see this as one more example that POTUS is out of touch. There is no point in conducting a war if you are going to cripple the men and women who are on the front lines by ordering stand downs and giving out "peace" awards for "courageous military restraint." (oxymoron). There is no doubt that war is the greatest harm mankind can visit upon the Earth but against an enemy that sees murder as the only approach, you really have no choice. Al Qaeda will do anything in its power to kill you and your children. That is not a joke. It is not an exaggeration. Why then, are we not committed to returning the favor?

IRAN

IRAN: "We aren't enriching uranium. We don't have secret facilities. Ok, fine we are enriching uranium but the facilities aren't really "secret." Plus, it's not a lot of fissile material. Ok, fine, it is a lot but not at very high levels that could be considered, or even used as weapons grade. Ok, at high levels but still not at weapons grade and we'd never make a bomb because we need to use this for medical equipment and power production because we don't have natural resources (like FREAKING OIL). Ok, ok, we have some enriched fuel but we're not making a bomb.

What's this here?... That? Oh, honestly, you western mongrel imperialist. That's just extra incase we can't make some tomorrow."

(Under its breath)- "Also, even if we wanted to build a bomb, we would and you couldn't stop us. Son's of whores."

The Cluster Duck: Within two (2) years, they test a nuke and that is really effing bad (but probably not quite as bad as these folks think).

POTUS: "Without going into specifics, what I do believe is that Iran has legitimate energy concerns, legitimate aspirations. On the other hand, the international community has a very real interest in preventing a nuclear arms race in the region," President Obama said.

This is a blog. I didn't start it and I don't plan on maintaining it. Essentially, you are about to view a lot of mental vomit and it's going to hurt. I have no apologies for that. Hopefully, here you will also find anecdotal notes of inspiration and general aggravation. Our goal is to make you hate us with such passion that you can't help but come back for more. In part, this will be because we are superior to you but also because we're pretty funny and accidentally insightful.

We begin by saying, this still is America. We love our country and the freedoms which have been earned by bloodshed and great mental resolve.
